Alysha Grant

Dance Faculty

Alysha began her dance training at age four in Byron, Minnesota. Alysha was nominated and selected for the Minnesota All-State Jazz performance. Alysha studied ballet pre-professionally with the Ballet Blake studio in Rochester, Minnesota. She studied with the Kansas City Ballet where she was taught by Sarah Lamb, Mel Tomlinson, and Karin Averty. Her ballet repertoire includes the ballets and neo-classical ballets La Bayadere, Paquita, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, La Folia, and Summer by Vivaldi.
Alysha began teaching in 2018, where she led ballet, contemporary, and musical theatre classes at The Dance Lab and The Paradigm Dance Project.  Alysha is the Sideline Vice President for the UWRF cheer team and is eager to get back into inspiring young dancers to pursue their dreams. Her specialties are ballet, pointe, contemporary, broadway jazz, yoga, and dance-focused strengthening and conditioning.
