Keri Leemkuil-Kramer – DIRECTOR
Keri Kramer is the Director and Founder of Hudson Dance Academy, which she established in 2002. What began as a small program with just a handful of classes has grown into a thriving, welcoming, and enriching studio community. Keri Kramer is the Director and Founder of Hudson Dance Academy, which she established in 2002. What began as a small program with just a handful of classes has grown into a thriving, welcoming, and enriching studio community. With over 39 years of dance experience and 27 years of teaching, Keri specializes in Ballet while also having extensive training in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Modern. She began her early training at Siouxland Movement Arts and Dancing with Celeste in Sioux City, Iowa, and was also a member of the Ballet Sioux Dance Company. Keri holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing/Dance) from Creighton University, where she studied under Mrs. Valerie Roche. She has continued to expand her training through classes in New York and Chicago with renowned choreographers including Gus Giordano, Joe Tremaine, Liz Imperio, Frank Hatchett, Randy Duncan, Mia Michaels, Dave Scott, and Wade Robson. She remains committed to ongoing education through certifications and national master classes. Her choreography and dancers have earned numerous regional and national awards, including overall high scores, Platinum honors, and National Champion titles for three consecutive years. Keri has also received recognition such as Top Teacher, Top Studio, and Excellence in Choreography, along with outstanding performance awards for her work. Beyond the studio, Keri has choreographed productions such as Grease, Guys and Dolls, The Secret Garden, Anything Goes, The Wizard of Oz, and The Sound of Music for St. Bernard’s Theater Department in St. Paul. She has also been selected as choreographer for the Miss Hudson Pageant and has served as a judge for competitions across the United States.While her accomplishments are extensive, Keri’s greatest passion lies in teaching young dancers. She especially loves working with beginning ballet and tap students, creating a nurturing and inspiring environment where children feel supported and inspired. Outside of the studio, Keri enjoys spending time at home with her husband, Tim, and their daughter, Klover, who is a member of Hudson Dance Academy’s Senior Company competition line.
