4–5 Year Old Pre-Comp Ballet/Tap Combo
An engaging class that introduces ballet, tap, and creative movement—while also preparing dancers for the next level! Dancers will build coordination, rhythm, confidence, and social skills. This gateway to our competition program performs at recital and competes in 1 local competition in May!

- December Nutcracker 2027 | $80 participation/costume rental fee
- Spring Recital (10:00 AM show) | 2 Dances, 1 Costume
- Spring Competition | 1 Local Event (May)
- Costume & Tights Fee: $90 + tax (Due Oct 1)
Attire & Shoe Requirements
- Girls: Black or pink leotard, pink tights, optional skirt
- Boys: Black joggers/sweatpants, black socks, white t-shirt
- Shoes: Girls – Pink ballet + black tap | Boys – Black ballet + black tap
💡 We also recommend dancers enroll in the Pre-Comp Acro/Tumbling I class (details below).
Acro/Tumbling I (Non-Recital)
A high-energy class focusing on flexibility, strength, and tumbling skills like cartwheels, bridges, headstands, and more! Perfect for our Pre Comp Dancers!
Typically ages 4-7
These classes will be taught by current HDA staff members.
Dancers will register for the Acro class that best suites their current Acro ability. The instructor reserves the right to adjust class placement if deemed necessary.
