Daddy Daughter Dance 2026
Create memories at HDA that last a lifetime!
Each year, we offer a heartwarming and fun opportunity for dancers and their dads (or special father figures!) to perform together at our Year-End Recital. This special production has quickly become one of the most anticipated and cherished moments of recital season!
🩰 Who Can Join?
Open to all HDA dancers ages 5–19
📅 Rehearsals Begin in March
We meet on select Sunday afternoons (plus one Saturday), beginning in March for approximately 6–7 rehearsals.
🕓 Rehearsal Time: 4:00–5:30 PM at the Studio

- Daddy Daughter Dance performs in all 3 shows 10am, 1pm, and 4pm
- Dads receive a FREE recital ticket just for dancing!

Sparkle, denim, and western flair!
Costume Details
- Each dancer & dad receives a Boots & Bling T-shirt
- Dads:
- Jeans
- Cowboy boots (black, red, or white)
- Cowboy hat to match boots
- Dancers:
- Red cowboy boots
- White bling cowboy hat (Hobby Lobby – Woodbury or online)
- Jean skirt, shorts, or jeans
- Optional jean jacket or jean vest

👕 What to Wear to Class
- Dancers: Dance attire with jazz shoes or half soles
- Dads: Comfortable clothes & clean, dry, non-marking tennis shoes
💡 Additional Info
- Attendance is important! Please log any absences in your Dance Account.
- Practice videos will be uploaded into your Dance Account for at-home practice and to help you stay caught up if you miss a class.

💲 Registration Fee: $85 per family (please register the dad – not the daughters)
👕 Daddy Daughter T-Shirt: $20 each per dancer
🌟 OPTIONAL: MASQUERADE NATIONALS
Not required for recital participation.
