Our competitive team provides students the opportunity to enhance their dance skills through professional classes in all styles. At HDA, we believe that DANCE lessons teach LIFE lessons, including:

- Preparedness for commitments
But that’s not all—our competitive program also focuses on mentorship, making lifelong connections, and providing dancers with a dance family and community for life!

Our competitive program is designed for dancers ages 4-19 who truly love dance. Those who commit extra effort, time, and focus are rewarded with one of the most incredible experiences imaginable.
What HDA Competitive Program Offers:

- We attend 3-4 competitions within the Twin Cities

Important Information:
We’re excited to announce the auditions for our Competition Lines for SZN 25! Dancers will learn an audition combo, be assigned numbers to wear, and perform in front of the faculty. Results will be emailed by June 15th.

Competition Line Auditions – Season 25
Date: Sunday, May 31
Ages 4–7: 1:00–1:45 PM
Ages 8–12: 2:00–3:00 PM
Ages 13+: 3:15–4:15 PM
(exact times & questionnaires will be emailed)
Special Opportunity:
We will be selecting solos, duets, and trios at the discretion of the faculty and studio owner. If you’re interested in being considered for one of these, please mark your interest on your audition questionnaire.
Class Conflicts:
If you have any potential scheduling conflicts (e.g., church on Wednesdays, middle/high school dance team rehearsals, etc.), please note them on your registration questionnaire. This will help us ensure you can attend weekly classes.
