Hudson Dance Academy Dress Code

GENERAL POLICIES

By registering for Dance, Music, or Theatre classes you agree to the following polices and procedures:

Registration
A non-refundable fee of $9.00 per student is required yearly at time of registration. The registration fee covers classes from September to May.

Tuition
Registration Fee per student (September - May) $9.00
Tuition is pro-rated and the same amount is due each month regardless of the number of classes in the Month. Tuition is due the first lesson of every Month. A $5.00 late fee is assessed for tuition paid after the 5th of every month. There are no tuition refunds for missed classes. The current Monthly payment will be kept in the event of a withdrawal. The Hudson Dance Academy does NOT send out monthly statements.

30 minute class $39.00 per month
45 minute class $44.00 per month
60 minute class $48.00 per month
30 minute Private Lesson $94.00 per Month (or $25.00 each)

Recital Costumes
A recital costume fee of $65.00 per class per dancer is due December 1. A $55.00 recital costume fee per class per dancer for the 3/4/5 and 5/6/7 year olds is due on December 1. These costs include tax. The costume fee is non refundable. Dancers may be assessed a recital prop/t-shirt fee each year for the finale that will not exceed $20.

Withdrawals
In the event a student withdrawals from class, the parent must call the office. The official date of withdrawal will be the date of the phone call and notification by the parent. Tuition will be due up to the end of the month in which the notification was made. Any unpaid balances are due within 10 days of withdrawal or will be accessed a fee and submitted to a collections agency.

Dress code
Black Leotards, Black Shorts/skirts/or Capri's, Tights (ballet pink, jazz/tap tan or black) and Shoes. Ballet shoes - Pink, Tap and Jazz Booties - Tan, Hip Hop - Black Hip Hop Sneakers. Hair must be pulled up and completely out of dancers face.

Injuries
Parents, legal guardians or minors, students, and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on studio property resulting from normal dance, music, or theatre activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, after or during class time.

Photo Release
Periodically throughout the year pictures are taken of classes in session and during special events. These photos become the property of The Hudson Dance Academy Expressive Art Center and maybe used in newspaper articles or advertisements.
