Hudson Dance Academy Dress Code

GENERAL POLICIES

Hudson Dance Academy Expressive Art Center General Policies By registering for any classes at Hudson Dance Academy you agree to the following polices and procedures:

Tuition
Registration Fee per student (September -June) $10.00 (waived one time for gymnastics technique class)
Tuition is pro-rated and the same amount is due each month regardless of the number of classes in the Month. Tuition is due the first lesson of every Month. A $10.00 late fee is assessed for tuition paid after the 5th of every month. There are no tuition refunds for missed classes. The current Monthly payment will be kept in the event of a withdrawal and a $25.00 withdrawal fee accessed to the credit card on file. The Hudson Dance Academy does NOT send out monthly statements. If accounts are not paid in full by June 5th of each year a $50.00 non negotiable fee will be added to your account each month it is unpaid. Each family must have a credit card on file as a back up payment. If payments are not received by the 10th of each month the back up card will be debited.

Preschool Classes:
Combo Ballet/Tap 60 minutes $35.00 per month
Preschool Class either ballet, tap, or Tumbling 30 minutes $30.00 per month

30 minute class $34.00 per month
45 minute class $39.00 per month
60 minute class $44.00 per month

30 minute Private Lesson $94.00 per Month
45 minute All boys Hip Hop $30.00
Add Hip Hop or Modern to any ballet, tap, or jazz class $22.00 per month
Adult 60 minute class $22 per month
Gymnastics dance technique $44.00 per month
Pointe Class 60 minutes $22.00 per month, must be registered for a 60 minute ballet class and have the instructors permission to take.

Discounts on Multi Class and Multi Family
Family $10.00 per month for 2, $15 for 3, $20 for 4+
2 Class $4 per month off total
3 Class $6 per month off total
4 Class $8 per month off total

If tuition is paid in full with Cash or Check by September 1 you will receive a 5% discount off of lessons only, costumes and dance apparel are not part of the 5% discount.

Recital Costumes - No Costume for Gymnastics Technique
Each dancer will be measured in October for a recital costume for each class. If the dancer is not going to be part of the year end show in June, the parent must inform the front desk in writing at the time of registration. Costume fees for 8 and older are of $70.00 per class per dancer. A $60.00 recital costume fee per class per dancer for the 3/4/5 and 5/6/7 year olds. These costs include tax. The costume fee is non refundable. Failure to pay for costumes with your registration fee will result in a $25.00 late fee per costume per month the payment is late. Each year for the finale H.D.A does something special and it might result in purchasing a prop or t-shirt not exceeding the amount of $20.00.

Withdrawals
In the event a student withdrawals from class, the parent must call the office. The official date of withdrawal will be the date of the phone call and notification by the parent. Tuition will be due up to the end of the month in which the notification was made. Any unpaid balances are due within 10 days of withdrawal or the credit card on file will be charged the remaining balance. At the time of withdrawal a $25.00 withdrawal fee will charged to the credit card on file.

Dress code
Black Leotards, Black Shorts/skirts/or Capri's, Tights (ballet pink, jazz/tap tan or black) and Shoes. Ballet shoes - Pink, Tap and Jazz Booties - Tan, Hip Hop - Black Hip Hop Sneakers. Hair must be pulled up and completely out of dancers face.

Injuries
Parents, legal guardians or minors, students, and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on studio property resulting from normal dance, music, or theatre activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, after or during class time.

Photo Release
Periodically throughout the year pictures are taken of classes in session and during special events. These photos become the property of The Hudson Dance Academy Expressive Art Center and maybe used in newspaper articles or advertisements.
